The next Ryedale Cycle Forum will be held on Tuesday 6th March at 10.30 at Ryedale House, Ryedale District Council.

The bicycle was once a symbol of women’s emancipation, with suffragettes taking to two wheels to spread their message of equal rights. But the latest figures show a big gender divide when it comes to cycling. Why?
A Ryedale bridge is set to close to traffic for about six weeks while it is repaired and resurfaced.
The closure of Kirkham bridge could mean a significant round-trip for visitors and residents of the village looking to cross the Derwent, with the nearest bridges being at Norton to the north and Howsham to the south.
Work on Kirkham Bridge is due to start on Monday, January 22. The road will be closed to traffic for the duration of the works with a signed diversion via Westow, Barton-le-Willows and the A64.
A new safe link for walkers and cyclists opens in North Dorset, a source of inspiration for similar groups in Ryedale.
The next meeting will take place at 10.30am on Tuesday 6 March at Ryedale District Council, Malton. An agenda will be published in due course.
