Aviva Community Fund
The Aviva Community Fund offers you the chance to get funding for an important cause in your community. It’s open to everyone – the general public as well as Aviva customers, employees, insurance brokers or financial advisers (whether associated with Aviva or not). We want you to enter a project for your community and tell us what a difference these much-needed funds could make.
Your project is right for the Aviva Community Fund if it:
- will make a positive difference in your community
- is associated with a community organisation or charity, and will take place in the UK
- will be completed or well underway before 31 December 2018
- can ideally be completed with the requested funding alone.
Community First Yorkshire
Community First Yorkshire provide funding advice and support to groups across North Yorkshire.

National Lottery Awards offers funding from £300 to £10,000 to support what matters to people and communities.

North York Moors National Park
Funding is available to accommodation providers, attractions, shops, cafés, pubs etc., to welcome visitors e.g. installing drying facilities, secure bike lockers, bike stands, electric charge points for e-bikes. North Yorkshire Sport
There are a number of sources of funding for clubs/groups, facilities, talented individuals and coaches to apply for and you can use the funding finder to search through local, regional and national funding opportunities.

Ryedale Community Grant Scheme
The Community Grant is for projects that make a positive impact on community owned or managed facilities and activities in Ryedale, such as village halls, play areas, sports facilities, village owned shops and activities that support the local community.

Ryedale District Council Public Open Space and Recreation Grant Scheme
The Grant is open to any Ryedale community based organisation or group, for projects that provide or improve Public Open Space and Recreation facilities in line with the relevant S106 Agreements. This includes facilities such as;

- Parks, gardens, amenity green space
- Natural and semi-natural open space
- Play areas
- Sports facilities (outdoor pitches, indoor or outdoor courts, sports halls and equipment)
- Allotments
