Active Filey
Active Filey has been created to promote health related activities and sporting opportunities such as cycling, running/ jogging, walking and sea swimming. Established in 2020, we currently don’t charge a membership fee and have received support from Filey Town Council, North Yorkshire Council, Filey Lions and Filey Bay Today. We are affiliated to several governing bodies for our different elements, plus have qualified ride leaders and coaches.

A road cycling club based in Malton competing in Time Trials, Road Races and Cyclo Cross.
Ryedale Velo Club
Ryedale Velo Club is a friendly, local cycling club that welcomes cyclists of all abilities. The club has regular group road rides on weekday evenings and Sunday mornings, all with a “no drop” policy. We also run regular mountain bike and gravel bike rides. Rides usually start from Kirkbymoorside, Pickering, Helmsley or Malton, depending on the planned route.
